Nigeria Immigration Hikes Passport Fees: ₦100,000 for 32-Page, ₦200,000 for 64-Page from September 1, 2025
The Nigeria Immigration Service has announced a fee revision for passport applications processed within the country. Beginning September 1, 2025, the cost for a 32-page passport with five-year validity will be ₦100,000, while a 64-page passport valid for ten years will now cost ₦200,000.

Fees for Nigerians in the diaspora remain unchanged, continuing at US$150 for the 32-page passport and US$230 for the 64-page variant. This adjustment aims to uphold the quality and global integrity of the standard Nigerian passport while managing service delivery effectively.

This latest fee adjustment comes just a year after a previous increase that took effect on September 1, 2024—when the prices were raised from ₦35,000 to ₦50,000 (32-page) and from ₦70,000 to ₦100,000 (64-page)
