In his statement, Ossai argued that financial responsibility should not be abandoned simply because one is wealthy.

“Having too much money doesn’t mean you should carelessly spend it. Dangote, Elon Musk, Mark Zuckerberg, and even I wouldn’t waste money like this.”

According to him, billionaires and high-profile figures around the world often invest their money wisely, even when they can afford extravagance. Lavish spending, he suggests, sends the wrong message in a country battling economic hardship.
